Creative/Topic

This afternoon we are going to begin an art project.

LKS2 I would like you to research 'impressionism'.

  • Use kiddle.co to research the work of Alfred Sisley, specifically his painting 'The Bridge at Sevres' and describe his painting.
  • What sorts of pictures did Sisley particularly like to paint?
  • When was impressionism popular?

Create a double page spread including all of your research about Impressionism.

UKS2 I would like you to research 'art and fashion'.

  • Use kiddle.co to research artists who have had their artwork designs used by fashion designers
  • Find an example of an artist who has collaborated with a fashion designer
  • Research Victor Vasarely - what style of art is he famous for creating?

Choose one of the artists you have found whilst researching and create a double page spread information fact file all about them.
