Wednesday 1st July
Good Morning Key Stage 2!
Welcome to July! We are well and truly on the final stretch to the summer holidays!
Start your day in an active way this morning with BBC Supermovers.
We are still continuing with our flowers and plants theme today and you can find this activity at the bottom of today's page.
English - Writing
This week your writing is going to be a little bit different. You are going to work on a fact file, adding new information each day, to give to your new teacher for September. This fact file is the perfect opportunity for you to tell your new teacher a little bit more about you!
Hopefully this will be an enjoyable activity and will give you a break from our usual writing routine.I have included a template to guide you however if possible, create your fact file in your own style, without using the template. You might like to use this as an opportunity to be creative! Finished fact files will not be published on the website, but given to the next class teacher of each child.
If you are in Year 6, why not use this time to create a book of memories about your time at East Farleigh.
There will be further information on transition from Mr Rivers soon.
I would like you to finish your fact file.
Remember, the template is there as a guide only. Please try to design your own fact file.
Finished fact files will not be published on the website, but given to the next class teacher of each child.
English - Reading
Have a go at Young Readers Story Club.
Have a go at the 'same sum puzzle' today.
This activity should take you some time as their are lots of possible answers.
This afternoon I would like you to complete a detailed picture of a flower or leaf. If you have water colour paints, watch the two leaf videos.
If you just have pencil, have a go at the hibiscus video. Follow each step very carefully. Remember to press very lightly with your pencil. (If possible draw on plain paper.)
Relax today with breathing boards.
