Wednesday 3rd June

Good Morning Key Stage 2!

As always - please remember to just manage what you can and take things at your own pace. There is no expectation that you need to complete absolutely everything, everyday.

Thank you for sending through the examples of your wonderful English work. I really enjoyed reading your descriptions. You can find some examples of your work on the virtual gallery.

Start the day with the 'Spell your name and get moving' activity. You might want to make your exercise session longer by spelling the names of other people in your family.

English - Writing

Yesterday you wrote the introduction to your story. Today we will be writing about plot point 2. You might have noticed a key in the secret passage picture that you studied on Monday. Your discovery of the key will form the build up of the adventure.

Please take a look at the writing progression document attached. This shows you what the end of year expectations are for your child's year group. When they are writing, please bear these in mind.

Topic/Creative

In our RE lessons we are going to learn about Christian Parables.

Today I would like to you read the parable 'The Parable of the Talents'.

Think carefully about your own talents. How might you use your talents to help others?

If you're good at baking, you might want to bake a cake for a friend, relative or neighbour, if you're good at drawing, you might want to design a card and post it to a friend.
