Group 1 - 6pm / Group 2 - 6:45pm
Parent Information Evening
We will be holding a parent information evening where we will be providing further details about the start of term in September. This event will be attended by the school SENCO, the Headteacher, our wonderful EYFS staff and our catering company (so that you can sample some of the options from our school lunch menu).
Apply for a day/time
Our EYFS staff will be offering you the chance to schedule a home visit. These provide a valuable opportunity for you to ask questions in the comfort of your own home. It also allows our EYFS staff to meet and interact with your child in their home environment; we are sure they will have lots of questions of their own to ask too!
2 - 2:45pm
Teddy Bear's Picnic
Come and join us on our school field for a teddy bear's picnic. This is a great opportunity to informally meet other parents, chat to teachers and allow your children to begin to form new friendships. Your child will be given a special Farleigh Bear to take home as a 'hello' and 'welcome to your new school' memento.
Please bring your own picnic blanket!
Pupil Taster Afternoon
Half of the new EYFS cohort will be invited to spend the afternoon in their new indoor/outdoor classroom. This will give them the opportunity to spend some time getting to know their new teachers and classmates as well as to explore learning through. Parents are encouraged to say quick goodbyes so that children can start having fun.
Children with Additional or Special Educational Needs
If you have a child with additional needs or is in the process of applying for an Education Health Care Plan, please contact our SENCo, Rachel Hodges, email@example.com. We will be able to arrange a time to meet with you individually to discuss the needs of your child and how we can best meet them.
